Tokyo Institute of Language, Japanese Language Center
A Japanese language education institution that provides appropriate educational programs and learning support to address the different needs of each student
People learn Japanese, for various reasons such as to study in Japanese universities, research institutes, and special schools, to apply Japanese in work, and to meet the needs of living in Japan. People differ from one another in terms of their own motives and purposes for learning Japanese. Our institute has a first-class Japanese language education faculty comprising a broad range of specialties. The professional education team provides appropriate educational programs and learning support to address the different needs of each student.
Over 20 years since its founding in May 1986, this institute has been recognized by the Association for the Promotion of Japanese Language Education as one of the excellent schools. In the initial phase, it mainly provided Japanese language education for diplomats. As more and more people come to Japan for advanced studies and higher education, this institute has gradually grown into a Japanese language education institution which helps students gain access to first class universities.
As for EJU examinations, interviews and math studies, our institute has set up correspondent strategies in each course, providing students with comprehensive instructions. So far, a number of students have successfully passed the examinations for entry into the top public or private universities in Japan. Our institute builds on the teaching experiences and expertise accumulated over years, and makes the best efforts in education. The students who once studied in our institute are now playing important and active roles on the world stage.
Our institute is extremely proud that our students can bridge their motherlands and Japan for international exchanges in this manner.
This institute was founded with the vision that its students could promote the friendly communication internationally, contribute to the world peace, and become international people who would view the world with a broader horizon.
This institute believes that those who are willing to learn will yield twice the result with half the effort through our courses and instructions.

Today, Japan leads in the world in science and technology, economy, finance and a range of other fields. Isn't it of great happiness and significance to learn such advanced culture and knowledge and then contribute to the society? In order to study in Japan and achieve the best results, first and foremost, you need to obtain the Japanese language skills.
I once studied in Japan. At that time, I ran into a great many of difficulties and troubles when studying the Japanese language and culture. This experience prompts me to do something for students who also come to Japan for study, and it serves as the original purpose for the establishment of this institute.
Upon the time when you read this, you are already able to explore a bright tomorrow for yourself. Studying in Japan will help you better understand Japan, other countries, and thus your own country. I have every reason to believe that the knowledge and experience you obtain here in Japan will make your tomorrow more prosperous.
